Summer Schools

Summer School in Sarajevo, 29-31 May 2019

The annual summer school of the European History master’s programme took placefrom May 30th-May 31st in Sarajevo at the Bošnjački institut. The group consisted of students and professors from the European History MA member universities such as Humboldt University, Roma Tre, Roma Tor Vergata, Paris Diderot, University College Dublin, University of Belgrade.

Among the Master’s thesis presentations held by our students as well as discussion groups and lectures, our group joined a guided tour through the old centre of Sarajevo. Through that we learned about the multicultural, controversial and also fascinating past of this city. For more Information, click here.

Summer School in Madrid, 12-13 July 2018

Summer School in Lisbon, 21-23 June 2022

After a two-year-break, the Summer School 2022 took place at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The group consisted of students and professors from the European History MA member universities such as Humboldt University, Roma Tre, Roma Tor Vergata, Université de Paris, Complutense University and  Oslo University. Among the master thesis presentations held by our students as well as discussion groups, our group joined a guided tour to the São Jorge Castle and the old centre of Lisbon.

Summer School in Berlin, 26-29 June 2023

The annual summer school of the European History master’s programme took place from June 26th to June 29th 2023 at the Humboldt University’s Institut für Geschichtswissenschaften . The group consisted of students and professors from the European History MA member universities such as Humboldt University, Roma Tre, Roma Tor Vergata, Université de Paris, University of Belgrade, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Oslo University, Universität Wien and Complutense University Madrid . Among the Master’s thesis presentations held by our students as well as discussion groups and lectures, our group joined a guided tour around the Alexanderplatz area to learn learn more and provide insight into the multicultural, controversial and also fascinating past of this city.
