Rome 2024 Summer School

The European History Summer School 2024 took place form the 17th to 21st June and was hosted by Roma Tre University,  in collaboration with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, University of Belgrade, University Roma Tor Vergata, UCD Dublin, Complutense Madrid, NOVA University Lisbon, University of Oslo, and University Paris Cité. The program began with an introduction session, followed by a day dedicated to inter-religious dialogue with a special focus on Rome from a European perspective. In the afternoon, we explored Tor Pignattara, visiting various religious institutions significant to the neighborhood, including an Islamic cultural center, a Hindu temple, and a Bahá’í center. Wednesday was dedicated to students’ presentations of their master’s theses. On Thursday, we delved into the complex heritage of Rome, tracing the history of resistance during the German occupation. The Summer School concluded with a feedback session, allowing participants to reflect on their experiences.
